These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tonic mobile application (“App” or “Tonic”). Please read them carefully before using the App.
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using Tonic, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tonic. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you do not meet this requirement, you must not use the App.

Tonic is intended for personal, non-commercial use on devices you control. The App stores most of your content locally on your device and does not provide cloud synchronization of your beauty data.
Subject to these Terms and the rules of the Platform Store from which you downloaded Tonic, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for lawful personal purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You may create a local account using Sign in with Apple or email sign-in, depending on the features available in your version of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account on your device.
You agree to provide accurate profile information where requested and to update it when necessary. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

Tutorials and other curated materials in Tonic are official App content provided for your personal learning and reference. You may like, collect, unlock, report, or block tutorial content according to in-app features. You retain ownership of the personal information and content you enter into the App, such as vanity records and diary entries, subject to the technical requirements of local storage on your device.
You are solely responsible for the content you add to your profile, vanity, and diary, including photos and written notes.
Tonic provides general organizational and educational tools. It does not provide medical, dermatological, cosmetic treatment, or other professional advice. Product suitability, skin reactions, and application techniques should be evaluated based on your own needs. Always patch-test products and consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
Tonic may offer optional virtual coin packs and VIP subscriptions processed through the Platform Store. Virtual coins and VIP benefits are licensed for use inside the App only. They have no real-world monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and do not create property rights outside the App.
By making an in-app purchase, you authorize the Platform Store to charge your account according to its billing procedures. Purchase availability, billing cycles, renewal terms, and cancellation methods are shown in the App and governed by the Platform Store’s rules. All purchases are final except where mandatory consumer protection laws or Platform Store policies require otherwise.
VIP subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically until cancelled through your Platform Store account settings before the next renewal period. Restore Purchases may restore eligible non-consumable entitlements associated with your store account. Consumable virtual items that have already been used cannot be restored once spent.
Tonic may offer optional rewards such as daily check-ins, tutorial completion rewards, and diary-related rewards that credit virtual coins or unlock features within the App. Reward rules, limits, and availability may change with App updates. We may modify or discontinue reward mechanics at any time.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of Tonic at any time, including features, tutorial catalogs, virtual items, or supported devices. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Updates may be required to continue using certain features.
Because your data is stored locally, uninstalling the App, deleting your account, or losing access to your device may result in permanent loss of data unless you maintain your own device backup.
The App, including its design, code, trademarks, logos, official tutorials, and bundled assets, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TONIC IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF TONIC, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US THROUGH IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our licensors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms remain in effect while you use Tonic. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it or deleting your account. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by applicable laws, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s laws. If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this document. Your continued use of Tonic after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
